Changing the front porch seasonally is something I look forward to because it doesn’t take a lot of change to give your porch a fresh look. The texture of your decor is an important element, and layering rugs of different textures can add depth and visual interest to your front porch. I chose a larger black and white rug for the bottom and added a simple doormat on top. I show you how to style it HERE.
Adding a variety of flowers and plants in planter pots is the perfect way to add new life to your porch. I like to do a mix of faux flowers and faux plants, because, let’s face it, faux plants are easier to maintain! I still try to choose plants that are seasonally appropriate so no one would ever know. Adding different heights and textures of planters will add to the dimension as well. Watch me style it HERE.

I wanted the porch swing area to be cozy and welcoming so I switched out the pillows and added a large neutral rug underneath. I styled it with lanterns and a faux maple tree to create a cozy space that will leave you wanting to sip on iced tea and enjoy the sunshine!
