One of my favorite things to do in my home is mix high end pieces with more affordable finds. I love it even more when I can find an affordable item that looks just like a more expensive version. I decided to challenge myself and find items that have a less expensive twin. So without further ado, I’ve rounded up the best splurge vs. save finds!
If any of these items give you the inspiration to give your living room a refresh, check out my post HERE to get some new ideas!
Side Tables
First up, I chose two side tables. I love the warm, neutral, and textured look of both of these. Our splurge item is by Dear Keaton, and it is this gorgeous Madison Papyrus Side Table. TJ Maxx carries a very similar version at an amazing price point. Their Grasscloth Side Table has the same shape and color palette. Either choice will add a great organic vibe to a room.
Console Tables
For console tables, I chose a sleek and streamlined look. I love the way this style blends seamlessly into any decor style. The Byron Waterfall Console Table by Pottery Barn is lightweight with the concrete look that is super popular right now. The Haught Console Table from Wayfair is budget-friendly and still gives that clean-lined and contemporary look. These tables would be perfect in an entryway or a living room.
Mirrors
The Gleaming Primrose Mirror from Anthropologie has been very popular for quite some time, and it’s easy to see why. It’s stunning with it’s vintage-inspired design and comes in a variety of sizes, so you can easily find the right size for where you want it. If you have been searching for a similar look without the price tag, then I found it! TJ Maxx has its own Ornate Arch Mirror that is almost a twin at a fraction of the price!
Lamps
I am also loving the textured and earthy look to these two lamps. We all know I adore McGee & Co, and this Decker Table Lamp is so pretty with its earthy and natural tones. This Kei Textured Table Lamp provides a similar look for less. Either will bring a rustic and contrasted look into your space.
Chairs
I’m obsessed with the contemporary look of these chairs. They give an open and airy vibe to the space that I love. The Yates Chair from McGee & Co is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable with its fluffy cushion and deep seat. A more budget-friendly option is the Antanae Upholstered Armchair from Wayfair that looks so similar you almost can’t tell the difference between the two.
Lighting
When it comes to lighting, I love the look of a chandelier. The Vendome Chandelier from McGee & Co has a minimalistic look while still providing a dramatic effect. The Sanibel 5 Chandelier by Joss & Main is nearly identical and comes in multiple finishes. It will give your home a traditional and inviting look.
