Candied Pecans
These candied pecans are decadent, delicious and everyone loves them. I’d recommend doubling or tripling the batch to give some away and keep some for yourself. Your entire house will smell amazing after making these too.
Ingredients for Candied Pecans
White sugar – 1 cup
Ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
1 egg white
Water – 1 tablespoon
Pecan halves – 1 pound
Instructions
First, preheat oven to 250 degrees. Secondly, mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl. Then, whisk egg white and water together in a separate bowl until frothy. Next, toss pecans in the egg white mixture. Similarly, mix sugar mixture into pecan mixture until pecans are evenly coated. Spread coated pecans onto a baking sheet. Lastly, bake in the preheated oven, flipping every 15 minutes, until pecans are evenly browned for 1 hour.
Recipe from Allrecipes
I packaged the nuts in small mason jars and attached three bells with Christmas ribbon to the top. They make great gifts on their own or you can add them to a holiday basket. Enjoy!
